WHEELS ON THE BUS premiered at the 2022 Berlin International Film Festival (Generation Kplus) and was later selected for Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg, DokuFest, Ale Kino, and the Hanoi International Film Festival, where it won Best Director in the short film category.
YET ANOTHER WINTER premiered at Busan International Film Festival (2021), and won Best Fiction in the Nepal Panorama at KIMFF. It was also selected for Odense International Film Festival (2022) and previously won Best Student Film at Woodstock Film Festival (2018).
SONGS OF CLOUDS premiered at Sundance Film Festival (2020), the film won the REMI Award at Houston WorldFest. It was also selected for Palm Springs ShortFest, Raindance, DokuFest, Asolo, Split (Grand Prix Shorts), Montreal FNC, Kyiv Molodist, and Atlanta Film Festival.
BLACK GOAT premiered at Austin Film Festival (2019), where it won the Jury Award for Narrative Student Short. It later won Best Live Action Short (Oscar-qualified) at St. Louis International Film Festival (2020), and was selected for Atlanta, Palm Springs, Encounters, and Edinburgh International Film Festivals.
AALGEDI - A CURIOUS GIRL premiered at Busan International Film Festival (2017), the film won Best Short Film at Berlinale Kplus and Asia-Pacific Film Festival (2018), and was officially selected at Zagreb Film Festival (2018).
A YEAR premiered at Telluride Film Festival (2018), the film won Best Student Film at Woodstock and Best Film School Short at River Film Festival (2019). It was also selected for Florida, HollyShorts, Boston, New Orleans, and San Diego Asian Film Festivals.
“KALAM” had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival 2019 in South Korea, competing in the Asian Wide Angle category. This short film won Best Film and Best Director at the Nepal International Film Festival 2020. It has been showcased at over 100 film festivals worldwide.
